ABOUT

Best months to visit the Iceland for warmth are July-August. Best months to visit for the Northern Lights are Feb-March and Sept-Oct. We took a week off work and traveled here from Aug 24 - Sept 1 2019. One of my best work friends traveled with us for the first half. If we had more time on this trip I would add:

  • North Iceland: Arctic Circle Boat Trip

  • Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon: Canyon in south east Iceland, the Fjaðrá river flows through it. Can walk on one of the many hiking paths in the canyon.
